Nine out of 10 urine samples from people in Malta contained traces of the weed killer glyphosate, laboratory tests carried out by Friends of the Earth Malta had shown last year.
The confirmation by the World Health Organisation that the world’s most popular weed killer can “probably” cause cancer will be of shock to Maltese users, since the results provide a worrisome corollary to a 2014 study that found glysophate in urine samples.
Glyphosate is one of the most widely-used weed killers in the world, used by farmers, local government and gardeners, as well as being sprayed extensively on some genetically modified crops imported into Europe for use as animal feed.

There was a study done in Germany in 2013 that showed this but as far as i know the WHO never commented on this.

I suspect it will take the WHO to intervene before its removed.

Interesting, thanks for sharing.

Even though it seems uncertain this increases the cancer risk or not, one can't help to think its no wonder so many people get cancer.

Whats interesting is the survey was done Europe wide, am surprised that WHO haven't looked at it, after all DDT was banned a few years ago, but it took a good while for this to happen.

Of course it maybe that Cancer has not been fully linked yet, look what happened to Cigarettes and the fight to link that.

When i was a kid, we were told that Cigarettes were good for you, it helped clear the airways, strange or what!
