if you're not in the UAE right now; then you should apply for a job online like almost everyone does. that way you'll get a work visa and ticket issued by the employer. coming to Dubai on a tourist visa and then looking for a job is not a good idea. and in case you've terminated your previous contract then you'll need the employers authorization to seek another job and that all dues have been paid and settled.
