Anybody see the movie "The Truman Show"?

Well, if you live in Golden Lake Guangzhou welcome to the show.

From afar a great spot....until you live there.

Crazy Pool Rules, Cafe options, Rude Security when your friends try to visit and much more to take into consideration as negatives.

Biggest one for me is the permanent decoration building and re-building, banging and drilling that has literally never stopped in the three years I am here, seven days a week Christmas Day included.

If it was not for the number of friends my kids have (also trapped here) we would be long gone.

Kept my mouth shut too long......ex-pats beware.

do not worry!. this happens all over china!. esp. in Anhui,hefei.

i listen to punk or metal half the time. to burn that useless annoyance out.

I watched the film many years ago.
FB, inst, youtube etc are blocked and we Chinese could not access to them, which likes the truman show.
