Saudi man marrying a Jordanian woman

Post new topic

mugh.maha

Salam y'all,
So I have a few questions regarding Saudi men marrying Jordanian women IN JORDAN. Has anyone the slightest idea how it's done? Like what the required documents are, does either party lose/gain any rights etc., how long of a procedure is it, are there any consequences if the couple choose to live in Saudi Arabia once marriage has taken place in Jordan, keeping in mind the man is Saudi, & has never been married in Saudi before?
If anyone has any legit info, kindly walk me through it.

hi ,

usually if any Saudi want to marry from any other nationality first of all he should apply for a permission from the IMARA or the municipality in which he was born or register, so If  you are planning to get marry first of all let him apply for such permission and once he get it you can make the marriage anywhere you want like if you are getting married from a Jordanian , there is no restrictions for the marriage and you are free to choose any place to live.

But before thinking in anything let him apply for this permission and as Jordanian I believe he can get the approval in 2-3 weeks depends on the process.

The documents required its different from one nationality to another so let him check what they need exactly.
