Can I stil get a money order anywhere here in Dubai? Does it mean the same wth a cheque?

Yes you can still get money order anywhere in Dubai, just google where you would be receiving or sending the money and you will see the closest one to you. However Western union is not the only option...there is still Money Gram. And know it does not mean the same as a cheque. A cheque is normaly given to you, so you can go get the physical cash on whatever is written on that cheque.
