One of my friend took loan from ADIB and Najm card, and left Dubai. Now he is working in Qatar.

Is it possible for him to go back to Dubai and work? What would be the consequence??

Please reply relevant...

Fred

He took out 2 loans and ran away, seemingly without paying anything back, thus stealing the money.
Take a wild guess what will happen to such a thief.

Contact the Banks. Clear the loans and you can come and work in Dubai,

Humm,

It's for one of my friend.. I m in Dubai already working..

Thanks for suggestions.

He shouldn't bother going back to Dubai without clearing the loans.  If the banks have filed cases then he is likely to be arrested on arrival.

How to get rid of it??

XTang

Really?  I just told you and so have the other people on these threads.

Get in touch with the banks and pay off the loans.

There is absolutely NO other way so stop asking the same question again and again.

Okay thanks!!

He is in Qatar and refused job offer in Dubai, can he travel or work in GCC other countries like Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia etc??

Pls suggest..

Is there any mediation available in Dubai..

You need to understand the situation.

1) The UAE banks have filed a case against him for sure
2) Depending on the amount and the bank, they might have even issued an Interpol red notice.  Generally, Interpol red notices should not be issued for these things but UAE banks are notorious for doing this
3) As per the points above, if the case is serious or turns into a criminal liability, he could have problems in other GCC countries

What mediation?  the only option he has is to talk to the banks and see what they say.  They may approve an installment plan for him but the case won't be dropped until that is settled.

He has no legal recourse as he ran away without paying the loan.

This is one of so many threads where we see a story of someone deliberately stealing money, then asking how to get away with their crime.

These people seem to think they have a right to take what they want and get away with theft, but that simply isn't reasonable.

The obvious suggestion is not to steal, but thieves tend to ignore that so the next would be to pay back what you took, but thieves generally claim poverty so that's out.

That leaves not returning and hoping a red notice isn't issued (enjoy the sleepless nights of worry the cops will come knocking on your door)

Knock knock.
