Est il facile de trouver un emploi au Bresil ?

Post new topic

jcmonty

Bonjour a tous.

Bom Dia Byakhondo

In fact, I would like to be in Brazil for the World Cup and The Olympics. That's the reason i'm planning to come over. But i will need to learn portuguese, and i will be looking for a school. I don't have a job offer yet, but i would appreciate to be able to stay and work in Brazil.

I read everywhere that getting a work visa if you're not an ingeneer is really difficult. Would you say so ?

Thanks a lot for your answers. Obrigado :)

Bon jour JC,

ok, too many steps to take at once...:D
For how long in total, you are planing to stay in Brasil? just for this period or to live for good ?
Lets make it easier, ok ?

#1 step: If you really want to learn portuguese, don't wait 'till you get there, take a good easy learning book, a dictionary and an audio cd.
If you think abt a portuguese classes in france if it's a good deal...well...let me tell you, it's hard to learn the grammar.
Take the commom phrases u'll use and need it to basic comunication and make some brazilian friends in France(which it's not difficult at all and exchange for the french lessons).

#2: a job offer to the W. cup for you who speaks 2 languages, it won't b. difficult at all, specially if it's in tourism field.
pardon, but, what do you do in france (job})? so if i have an idea, I can help to fit it in brazilian job field.

#3:If you search for a job or any french cia in brasil, for sure 'till 2013, u'll get something...rs, otherwise I REALLY MEAN, IT's NOT DIFFICULT AT ALL.
you can give some french class too.

I want to help you.
Indeed if you need something near the stadium,as an apart.,facilities, english/french school(all near the stadium) I can help you also.
Let me know.

Regards, Bya.

Hi jcmonty,

As you are interacting in English, i have moved the discussion on the Brazil anglophone forum.

Good luck

Hi Byakhondo

Yesin fact, i'd love to settle down in Brazil and live there for at least 5 years. I have always wanted to go and live in Brazil. And i feel like time has come. And a World Cup in Brazil, I just CANT miss that !!

I'm working as an executive in France, in international trade. I could get a job position in any company that sells or buy abroad.
I could even work in banks or any sales related work. I just have to learn portugueses first and i'll get operationnal !!

But i'm afraid i'm staying 6 months in Brazil, i learn portuguese, and then i don't get a job and I have to go back. That would be bad.

By the way, are you in China right now ? I've been to Tianjin, in 2004, for a work placement. I just loved it. So, what are you doing in Souzhou ?

Regards. And thanks a lot for your help. You're the only one so far to have replied to me . :)

Salut JC

Je pars le 10 janvier direct(ion Cayenne avec, de même que toi, l'intention de rester au Brésil au moins trois ans disons, et probablement jusqu'aux JO ! In Rio of course, although many other cities are tempting.. I went in Brazil eight years ago for three mounth and well, now I have the opportunity to see if something can be done there.. I really wish.. I speak a much better portuguese there ! If you go to Rio, beware Carioca is not that easy to learn.. not like spanish from argentina if you learnt some spanish at school for example.. well for the first period I plan to work for Communityinaction.org in Rio, starting march20th,  then to find a work. But I saw on ambassy's site that french tourist can't stay more than three mounth each semester.. another friend in Recife at the moment told me there you can't get a three mounth renewal.. if anybody has some experience on this topic I'd greatly appreaciate...

Um abraço
Etienne
