You asked this before and got the same answer: IPA is issued a few days (at most a week) after MoM has decided to approve your work pass.

My EP was applied on 29th March and still I can't see it as "Pending"
still showing old status while searching with travel document and giving error while searching with application number.
Just to add that my employer uploaded additional documents(requested by MOM) on 5th April, but atleast by now i should be able to see it as "Pending"

This means MoM did not accept the application without the additional documents. After they are submitted (assuming this is complete and satisfies MoM), they will enter your application into the system within a week (somettimes a bit longer) and then you should be able to see it after logging in with your FIN number.

Hi my employer apply my s pass application on 6  sept 2018 but till now no record found

There could be possible three scenarios:
1. Record not found (which means MoM system doesn’t have record on your passport). In this case, either your employer didn’t apply on 6th Sep’18 or apply 2/3 days back only, where MoM yet to update in its system.
2. Pending
3. Approved/Rejected

So, continue checking Everyday. Good luck

Your FIN number remains the same for your whole life - or at least until you become PR/citizen.

Visit a professional photo studio. They can make good passport pictures of you (although at a price).

This is not the thing actually the quality of photograph on the passport is not good taken my govt agency what can I do in this? I cannot change it on my own

Maybe renew your passport again although haven’t reached the expiry date.

What did MoM actually ask you to do?

Hi guys! I'm encountering the same situation. My employer said they already applied my EP on Monday (10 June 2019) and till today there is no update on the EPOL. Its still showing my current employer information.

Another thing that actually freaking me out is that I'm applying for a new EP in less than 3 months. Does it effect the approval process from MOM.

Be patient - MoM works at its own pace and cannot be rushed!
But you are right: They dislike job-hoppers, so that will count as a negative point for you.

Finally after a long wait my ep got approved 😊 but there is one concern that the validity in my IPA for ep is for 14 months only..is it like this only...I heard that for first time the validity is for two years pls guide Abt it.. Moreover my employer assured me that they can get my ep renewed is that possible easily...thanks in advance

Congratulations.

First time EP can be granted UPTO 2 years.. if your Employer applied for 2 years, then too MoM officer at his discretion and other factors can decide the duration. 14 months is far to worry about that. Enjoy your approval and start planning for the move.

The IPA validity is the time within which you have to enter Singapore and have the actual EP issued. This is usually one, two or three months.
You probably mean EP validity. If so, Avinash is right above.

Most of my friends got their DP approved in <48 hours. However there were cases where it took a week. So you never know. It's case to case basis. But hopefully in two days should get it.

To work on DP, the prospective employer had to apply for LOC (Letter of consent) from MoM, the processing is same as that of SPass or EPass I.e. qualifications is verified according to job profile and employer has to justify they didnt get a local candidate.

All this information is already available on the MoM website in details.

Currently getting a job on DP is extremely difficult. Companies prefer EP or SP candidates over DP. It all depends on luck.

No...we don't get any SMS updates at any stage. You can check the status online and/or with your employer.

i have also same problem. my boss i submit 18/06/2019...  MOM say need to 14 working day for visa. now haven come the visa. boss contact mom already. now i check mom online eservices show the E0000236 : No record found.. i am also work sg before 6 year. so now what to do? anybody can help me. please

This can’t be the case that since mid June till now MoM didn’t update the record. Either you are checking incorrectly or your employer didn’t submit the application. Check with your employer or you can directly reach out MoM through email with your details to see what MoM advise. Good luck

I hope it's ok I ask about the same thing - is it possible that I'm getting the "No record found" error because I try to login with my passport number (and not the FIN number?)
I sent documents to my employer about 3 weeks ago and had no info since (they just replied they would get back to me if they need any additional info).

I'm ok with waiting, but I got a bit worried seeing this error. I will contact my employer to see if they have any updates, but just wanted to get a little more insight here.

If your passport number and your FIN are both tied to the correct record, then you will see the same no matter which one you use to log in.
If that is not the case, something is wrong. In that case your emploxer should contact MoM to find out what.

You can get details by searching both your passport (first time applicant) and FIN (if you have existing one). Check if they have applied or not. Good luck

I have been offered an epass as a mechanical designer
my application is submitted on 02 dec

It is my first time application

I read through every details in this expat group
But when i use my application number
It shows no record found
Its been nearly 17 days

I am worried

I checked it with one of my friends FIN NUMBER who is in singapore

my agent never gave me the fin number
But he sent me the application number and the date through screenshot

I'm in a doubt
Whether we should use only our fin number and check with that

Or else we can check with others id to check the status

I don't know what to do
Please find me a solution

As far as I know, the application number becomes your FIN after appeoval. But I’m not sure if others can see the status of your application - that would be wuestionable from a privacy protection standpoint.
Better ask your employer to check the status!

I asked them about the details
First they send me the screenshot like it was applied on 02 dec

After asking them today the told on 2 dec application there was few problems so we could not proceed like this with some reasons

But today they send me a new application number which was applied on 17 dec it shows on mom that the status is pending

Somewhat im happy that its shows on mom

But

Im still worried how could they send me application without applying or whether something might happen inbetween process

Is there any probablity like that ?

If you have time to waste, you can check as many times as you want.
But I think once a week, starting from a month after submission, is enough.
