primary school nightmare...Help!

Hello,

We are moving to Mauritius in August. We thought we had found a good school in Paul et Virginie. Our daughter secured a place. Then it fell apart... Our english/french bilingual child, 5 years old, 6 at the end of July, currently attends a French school with an English system, Year 1, in the UK. P et V want to place her into CP. In which they are just starting writing and writing in french, no English at all.
It's not an academic school, it's more a school of life, as it was explained. Oh no!
My partner understandably wants the French to continue as I do too, but the English too. It's our native languages. Plus, I do not want my child to stagnate.
Can anyone suggest an alternative school that can offer this?

What are you looking for exactly?

A French school that also teaches English?
Or
An English medium school that also has French as second language?

We decided on WIP School. It is essentially an English speaking school, with french as a first language option. It seems to fit our needs. Phew!
