NOT SHOPPING AT LA SIRENA

Post new topic

planner

I have just had a particularly horrible experience at La Sirena.

Bought myself a brand new  Samsung washing machine that HAS NEVER WORKED.

5 calls,   2 visits and a guy shows up today. HE cannot make it work.

NOW they will not exchange it or return it! NOW they say I have to wait for a technician and that is not what my guarantee says.

SO, I am honoring my word and spreading the word.

I WILL NOT SHOP AT LA SIRENA ANY MORE.  I WILL NOT TAKE MY CLIENTS TO LA SIRENA EVER AGAIN. T

HURRY UP AND OPEN JUMBO!

Contact Samsung directly. If the're anything like Samsung here they'll sort out the machine without a lot of hassle, but I did have to persuade them a little.

I have to go thru the store to even get  tech to my house. So annoying.

Thanks though.maybe i will just call em anyway!

Fred

I would.
Manufacturers tend to take a dim view of outlets that make them look bad.

Sounds so normal in a way :(
Yes call Samsung directly as well as the manager of la Sirena or even the Ramos group directly.

I will call samsung and use social media to reach them as well.

I know the manager of la sirena as well and he will see memin person tomorrow or tuesday, count on it.

If that fails doing what a friend did - taking the machine to their frint door and i will start screaming in english and in spanish about their lousy service.

Side note - i re injured my damn shoulder putting the old.machine back in place! Now i am supremely pissed off.

Hi Planner,
Sorry to hear about your experience with La Sirena and hope that your issue has been resolved. Do you have any idea on the opening date of the Jumbo store?

Love your spunk Planner.  If I was there, I'd go along to help you....   :D

planner

Thanks. I did eventually get my money back!

I the  bought a washer at Corripio in Puerto Plata, excellent service and good price.

Jumbo - i am td for Dominican fathers day, last Dunday in July. Vamos a ver!!!

Did Corripio allow you to use a credit card or did you use cash? We will need a fridge and oven.

planner

Yes but better pricing with cash.

Bob K

I am not sure you may need to call them.  Usually you will get a discount when paying cash rather than a CC.
