I would first of all not look in the clubs or discos. Tourist areas like Sosua attract woman looking to secure a sugar daddy and many are just looking to be paid for sex, which is legal there. I would limit it to woman who are educated and employed. Santiago is a nice city to look and after thinking about it I would probably look there first if I was in your shoes. However, good woman can be found anywhere in the DR. Just look out for the warning signs and don't fall head over heals in love to quickly.

It is nothing at all like looking for some land to start a vineyard!   Searching for a potential wife is a farce. You can't pick one of a tree like an apple. You might be better off with someting like Match.com,   Buy a good pair of hiking boots and start walking the inland hills. Never in the high tourist areas. If you are under 30 or over 50, forget the quest, because you will be a target.  Take your time, don't rush & you could just stumble over the perfect woman.  What age group do you require?  A good relationship takes time to develop & truly know each other.  The most impotent part of love is the time spent outside the bed.  After a great hour of loving you are left with 23 hours to get along with each other....   I wish wel with your impending sojourn into love in the DR.
