What would you bring from home?

Post new topic

Hello everyone! I am a Brazilian Portuguese teacher, from Sao Paulo, living in Bristol, United Kingdom. I absolutely love it here. The only thing I would bring here to make my life even better would be our Brazilian food.

If you could bring one thing from your home country, what would that be?

Hi Nina!

I agree with you, there's many things I miss about Myhome country but the thing I miss most is the food!
Coming from Australia to Brazil, I'm glad I brought many clothes rather than buying them here. It's a nightmare to figure out the size difference, and the better quality clothing is so expensive here.
I also brought some vegemite (an Australian favorite) but I wish I brought more food from home! It really helps with both homesickness and a feeling of being home in your new country.

Thanks for you reply. I know what you mean by taking the tea bags. When I go back to Brazil with my husband (English), that is what he misses most too.
