We left in 2004.Also,we speak Spanish very fluently, will be looking for a small 2 bdrm-1baths apt or house.Thanks!

Have you looked at the housing part of the forum at the top of the page ?

That might be where to start. As you may know , your other option would be to go to your area of interest, and just stay in a hotel, or hostel while you look. That is how most people do it if they are familiar with Mexico, and speak the language.
Another idea is to check with a local real estate agent when you get there which might be the way most Americans look.

When you know where you are going we might have other ideas.
