Hi Jenny,

are you currently live in lipa, batangas? where in manila are you referring to? did you mean manila or metro manila? how much is your budget? what type of room do you prefer? studio or 1 br type?

Hi Amanda,
Yes I am living in lipa city now but I plan to move, maybe in metro manila, near makati, pasay ect. I need 1 bedroom type ( spt kos di indo ), and the budget is ... reasonable, cheap and clean

makati is kinda pricey. maybe you can try to look 1 in mandaluyong near makati, be noted that mandaluyong is a big area, so maybe you can try to find mandaluyong near edsa, like in boni or shaw area.
i lived in SMDC light mandaluyong, 12k/month with 1500 association dues/month and it's a studio type, fully furnished
my current place is 11k/month with 1BR but it's not a condo. it's an apt, like kos but way bigger, bare room.
or you can try in cityland, usually is less than 10k with furnished room. you can check in olx[dot]com[dot]ph, there are some good places in mandaluyong with 10k/month. :)

Hi Jenny,

A thought just came to mind. You might want to contact your Embassy In Manila and ask questions on housing. After all, the embassy workers live somewhere and they just might have some ideas.
Here's a link to Your Embassy.

Best of luck

Embassy workers also have busy jobs with official duties to tend to, which don't include giving housing advice to expats.  Also consular officials are not likely to divulge where they themselves might live, for personal safety reasons.
