If you have a picture, u can get sm1 to build one for you. Got a friend who very good with metal work, im base in Mahebourg region, if you want we can meet up and i bring you over to his place, he definately can sort u out

Hi Nel,

Although a majority of the population is of Indian origin, a lot of things dont have the same legacy.! The wonderful tuk-tuks a.k.a Autorickshaws that prowl the streets of South-east Asia are not found around here!

I would love to know if you do. Secondly, if you are contemplating getting one fabricated here, do try to find out the motor laws and the eventual costs of running one.

Another idea would be to try to import one , though this might be expensive, not to mention may not pass the emission rules here:)

There is one outside the Balikopy Restaurant in Tamarin/Black River, although I am not sure if it is for hire or just a display, but it's definitely the real thing :)
