Expats! I am getting married later this year. He wants his papers. *joke* My “auntie” had to scare me off traveling as a woman alone in Amman. She doesn’t trust me to do anything on my own in spite of my age and experience. “Yeah right she’d get there and get arrested at the airport because you didn’t pay a fee...” she jokingly told my mom.

At the most, they’ll be surprised but certainly wouldn’t deny me entry. If there are any thing extra I need to be aware of: I am a woman going herself but I dress properly. My fiancé promised to pick me up from the gate asap.

In a customs room will i for some reason be interviewed? Just my ticket, 40JD entry visa and US passport isn’t enough?

There's no need to worry about: with your passport and visa you can safe leave the airport.
As my personal experience as a woman who travels alone, I get always some privilege which men seems not to get.
