Driving Class Book.

I have completed my driving classes a month ago. The instructor kept the driving class book in his custody during the period of driving classes. Now I am chasing him like anything to return the book since then but it seems that he is trying to avoid the situation instead of returning the book.

Now I feared that he might have lost the book since he is delaying the things from past 4 weeks. Although I can take the test date without the book but I beleive it's important to carry the book during the test. Please advise a probable solution in this case to proceed with.

Usually the book should be with you and not with the instructor, if you try approaching the traffic directorate and check but i am afraid they may not help you and give you the above explanation, better to approach the driver personally and tell him if he has lost to help you with all the things pending. I know this is something we should not do, but i dont see any other way around.
