Hi guys,  :)
actually the title of my posting says already what i am looking for.

My husband and me have got an autistic child with probably a mental disability. Not sure yet. We are living in germany and my husbands company might send him to denmark. I just started learning about the country but i found that in denmark you have homeschooling which is illegal in germany. So i do not really have an idea how that system of homeschooling works. Can someone help me to answer some questions?

- can anyone use that form of homeschooling or is a certain education required for this
- how does homeschooling work in general? Is there some checking once in a while of the gouverment
regarding the development of the child?
- Do i have to register somewhere to apply for that way of schooling?
- is there a useful website to this subject in english?

Thanks to you guys already for your help!   :top:

My knowledge of this topic is rather limited, but you can teach your child yourself, but of course there are some requirements which you have to meet.

This site has all the information you ask for and need to know. It is in Danish, but I hope that Google Translate can make it understandable for you.
