Is there anyone here who has applied for either the RHA card or submitted a S1 form in Malta since Christmas and if so what was your experience. If you already have a S 1 agreement don’t respond you will find out when it expires next. I’m interested in people who have tried like me since Christmas when the rules changed. And you need to be in receipt of the uk state pension. Younger people it’s different as you get the RHA

I would also be interested.

You have had to be in receipt of a UK state pension since 2016.
Prior to that anyone with sufficient NI payments could get cover through S1 but only for 2.5 years.
