Our company has some internal vacancies available in mauritius that I would like to apply for. I would need to relocate with my 14 year old son early 2020 who will be in grade 10(sou th african standard) therefore looking for a school that teaches in English. I don't mind whether public or private school.

He'll be studying physical sciences

My questions are:
1. what is the process to apply for entry at a high school?
2. What's the cost for both private and government school?
3. Sent an enquiry at one of the government schools already,  was advised to send application to a minister of education? Can it be done while I'm still in South Africa?
4. If we relocate before finding a school, how easy is it to find placement?

Looking for schools not far from Ebene

Thank you

I've looked at West Coast International Secondary...fees about  US$6,000 per year at age 14. Must be a lot of SA kids there as they play rugby!

Your easiest way is to Google Private Schools Mauritius and then click the MAP feature...they will all pop up and you can look at the ones closest to where you will be.

Hi. 😊. The most popular school close to Ebene would be Le Bocage. There are  three main options of private schools. They are Northfield's, in the North; Le Bocage in Moka and Lighthouse, in the North again, but closer than Northfields.

*** 😊.

Best wishes,
Dawn
