Studying in Malaysia during the crisis

Post new topic

Cheryl

Hi everyone,

in Malaysia or elsewhere, school has inevitably been disturbed by the current pandemic. Studying abroad seems increasingly difficult as some borders remain closed, even to students.

Whether you are a student in Malaysia or a parent of a student currently dealing with issues with school or university, we would like to get some feedback from you.

How was the start of the academic year?

Were you able to go to Malaysia to study?

Were there any special measures in place to ensure social distancing? If so, what are they?

Were face-to-face courses maintained or replaced by virtual courses?

How did you experience the whole situation, either as a student or as a parent?

Thank you for your contribution!

Have a nice day,

Cheryl

Education sector is very much affected indeed. My dad, being a lecturer in Sabah, is working from home giving online lectures. Outside Malaysia, the situation remains the same. Many people are now offering virtual programmes. I, too , wanted to opt in for MBA but seems most of the countries are not allowing due to border closures.
