Well guys with the latest restrictions it looks like a very very different Christmas and New Years Eve for us all, Bars cafes restaurants all closed till midnight 31st 2020.... so it looks like we will all be celebrating at home with family and friends (gatherings of no more than 10)  unless thing change in the next 7-9 days... fingers crossed that the epidemiological data changes for the better allowing a relaxation .

Good luck good health stay safe stay healthy

Six of us had arranged to go to a restaurant for Christmas Day lunch and a for New Year’s Eve meal - which has now gone by the wayside.
Instead, each couple is doing a special meal for the six of us (we have long been in a “bubble” of friendship.)
One couple is doing Christmas Day lunch;  WE are doing Boxing Day lunch and the other couple are doing New Year’s Eve dinner.
And for every meal, the ladies will be making/buying and bringing either starters or desserts, by arrangement.
That way, although it does mean work for us instead of eating out, it isn’t too much of a huge job, as we all have some help.
And even if “things change” by next week - too late - as we have ordered our joints now!
