The need for an inverter

Do you work from home?  How do you feel about trying to sleep with no fan?

Electricity in that area is good but reality is it goes out at times.  Often just briefly but it's a pain in the you know....

Try ordering a mini-renewable energy kit from someone like alt-e in the states. As you're in a questionable power zone, get a battery backup-tons of youtube videos on the subject...Be a hero after any tropical storm/hurricane: Have power/lights/...know that few people will not be happy with your decision NOT to be a victim of the power company....

You would be wise to invest in an inverter for essential power back up if your apartment block does not have a back up generator.

Even on 24/7 circuits there will be outages from time to time.

If you want it to run a fan you should invest in a more expensive pure sine wave inverter to avoid the hum.

Easy to find here with installation service. Work out the appliances and wattage you need and for how long and then select inverter and batteries. Trojan batteries are recommended and readily available here for inverters.

There are a load of different versions available - most made in China - so you have to decided what you need it to do and choose the correct model from there.
The things will charge laptops and phones as well as run basic gear such as fans.
If you need something with more power, a charger/inverter with a bunch of batteries on the end of it will do the job

I've seen them rated at 2,000 watts so (with the appropriate batteries) you have a lot of back up. However, Lithium ion batteries don't come cheap.

Try buying an electric fan that also runs on a battery ( 20 volt ) I bought 2 from the states in my luggage about a year ago , no problem , there not too expensive $40 .., buy 2 - 3 batteries for each , one battery will last around 4 - 5 hours depending on what speed you run the fan at , at eleven or twelve at night when your ac goes kaput your going to be glad you have one or two , they really work great and who ever got hit by the hurricane last year and lost power for 3 - 4 day it should be a must have
