Rhubarb - a peculiarly British love affair

Post new topic

Rhubarb is something that we British people enjoy with a gusto that others don’t. It is the fleshy stalks that you eat, technically called the petioles. The leaves are toxic and so should certainly not be eaten.

I have been living in Cyprus for 5 years now. Unfortunately, I have never seen Rhubarb in any supermarkets.

If anyone of you could kindly advise where I could buy Rhubarb, that would be great. Ideally, I would love to obtain a Rhubarb root so that I could replant it in my own garden.

Thank you all and take great care - these are challenging times.
