Is there any way to pay for utilities in DR while living in the US in order not to have them cut off.  Does anyone know if that can be done over the Internet, using American Credit Cards?

DRVisitor

Yes but it may depend on the company.

Jwoddis

I imagine that’s going to depend on the utility company but I pay Luz y Fuerza in Las Terrenas by credit card over the web.

Thank you for the speedy response.

Does anyone know what the url's are for Electric and water in Santiago?

CEPM in the Punta Cana area lets you pay on WhatsApp, but that may only be when it's done inside DR.

Have you tried the MiClaro app or website? I've paid using both the app with credit card and the "Services" option through my bank's app. I bank with Banco Santa Cruz.

Thanks.  I'll check it out.

Yes, you can pay them online. I pay them directly from my BHD account.
