Hey there!

We are going to spend a year in Tamarin, Mauritius with our three children and need to buy a car for that time.  We would like to buy it second hand. Does anybody have a good advice for us?

Thank you for answering!

Hi, I would suggest you buy as second-hand car from a dealer. Private buy created a lot of issues for me. The registration process is quite a mess and you will at least spend 2 days between the NTA, registration office and back to the NTA. I know a few people that make use of long-term rental. Especially if you only going to be here for only one year.
