Hi all,

My EP application started from 3 weeks ago and now I've been told that my application needs more time for review with no reasons provided. Is there anyone who has ever encountered this situation before? Does it stand for a higer possibility to be rejected? How long would it take until I get update next time? Thank you for your replies!

Please read existing threads on this forum before posting: This has been discussed numerous times!

The vetting stage, which your application is apprently in, can take an unforeseeable amount of time - and that depends on your home country authorities, schools and ex-employer, thus out of MoM's control.

@beppi Hi, thank you for your reply!

Yes, I've read about that long thread before. But my application status still keeps in "Pending", not waiting for vetting something. That's why I'm curious if anyone has encountered it before.

@Li Lyndon Any progress? Same here. Applied on 20 December 2022, still pending on 10 Jan 2023, and MoM just replied they need more time to review.

@beppi Could you share some thread links or key words for searching? I tried searching in this forum but found little helpful. I guess it's difficult to search in any forum in the world.

I would try "EP application" or similar. Be creative!

@Li Lyndon My agency told me it could be usually because MOM were doing some background checks or waiting for input from some other agencies.
