Hi all, I am a retired foreigner resident of Turkey. Has anyone here bought a new car in Turkey. Can you please explain how to get tax exemption for OTV and KDV.

Owning a car in Turkey is expensive, I do not know if you are a resident, but I do not think you can get savings, I have had my car throughout my life, but not in Turkey (not looking at the cost per se).
Please do not forget to change your driving license (I did even not owning or driving a car).

@A B43 I do not know what these taxes mean (I am from Netherlands), but hassle already sounds a nightmare (and expensive)
