Hi, Just an introduction and a genuine question?

My name is Greg ,Australian , 60 yo retired and looking for somewhere to settle .I was seriously considering Bali but would like to look at my options in Cambodia. The only issue I see is my Philippine girlfriend who is 50 years old would possibly not be able to get the retirement visa because of her age?  Is there a workaround to this , can a spouse be younger and supported by myself ? I am self funded so no pension involved.1f609.svg

Hi Greg and welcome to the forum.

You should consult a visa agent in Cambodia regarding what's possible for citizens of countries in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), which includes The Philippines.

Since you're not married, I'm fairly sure you cannot sponsor her.

At the same time, I feel like it is possible because there are people from the Philippines, Thailand, etc. living here.

Thank you for your response, it's early stages yet so just feeling out the country as a possibility.

We will travel there soon to take a better look, good to know others from Philippines are there also.
