My student pass IPA has been issued and I noticed that my name format in my IPA does not match with my passport. Will I get any issue on the immigration?

IPA: <given name> <surname>

Passport: <surname> <given name> (P<INDsurname<<given<name<<<<<)

Don't worry, the Singapore authorities are used to such mix-ups. Some of the cultures who live together in Singapore have no surname, or the surname changes with every generation (and is thus "given"), or use the surname as first name and given name as second.

@beppi thanks for the reply. I am still confused because I mailed both my school and ICA. Their replies are different. School replied the IPA format is correct no need to change anything but ica replied surname should be first nothing else in their mail.

So, I wanted to make sure will I get into any trouble on the immigration and other formalities. Because I am planning to fly on July last.

@Jack000 If you are worried, you should ask your school to correct the error in the papers!
