EP Application Delay: Anyone Experienced Over 2 Months Processing?

Hi everyone,

Has anyone experienced their EP application taking more than 2 months? A bit of context: this is my 3rd EP application with one of the large tech companies. My new role is also on the commercial side of the business, and I have 10 years of experience in the tech industry. My background and education verifications have been completed. The agency that applied for my EP has informed me that the MoM officer is still reviewing my application and that no additional documents are needed at the moment. I have a feeling this might be because the agency submitted the application without my educational qualifications, though I passed COMPASS without them.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? I’m still working in Singapore with my current employer, but I’ve never experienced such a long processing time. My last two EPs took 1-1.5 months.

I’d appreciate any insights or advice from those who have been through a similar situation. Thanks in advance for your help!

Two months or more is a long, but not unusual processing time. We have seen up to six months on this forum.

Your employer should contact MoM to ask what is holding it up!

Hi there,

Are there any updates? My EP renewal application also is about two months now with pending status.
