Hi,

I’m currently on an Employment Pass (EP), which is set to expire in two months as I approach the end of my second year. At present, I’m working for a client through a vendor's payroll. However, the renewal won’t be processed with this vendor due to the company’s inability to meet the necessary points for renewal.

As a result, the plan is to apply for a new EP under a different vendor. My educational qualifications have already been verified, and nine months ago, I received an In-Principle Approval (IPA), which was later cancelled as I continued with the same company. I’m a key resource, and the client has retained me with a 25% salary increase.

Despite this, the switch to a new vendor and the need for a new EP are causing concern for me. What are the chances of this new EP application being approved? Any success stories?

Thanks.

Any new application will be assessed by MoM on its own merit.

Without knowing all the details of you, your case, the job and employer (and the inner workings of MoM), nobody can tell your chances. Sorry!
