We're both in our 60s and retired and want to relocate to northern Sweden, probably in or near Umeå where we have friends.

We've begun our research into what this will entail and frankly, we are overwhelmed. We've visited many websites and have come away bewildered because a lot of the data we need is either missing or vague. We need hard numbers on how much net worth we need, how our USA pension incomes will be taxed, and, in general, if Sweden will even want to accept us as retirees.

Who do we contact to sit down with and discuss all of these details? A immigration service/lawyer/CPA in the USA? Someone in Sweden?
