Vietnam Customs blocking packages from the USA

Does anyone have any idea why the Vietnamese Government has become so intolerant of imports from the USA? Since November the customs department in Vietnam has become downright tyrannical. Even packages well below 2tr are being indefinitely stuck in the customs labyrinth.

How is this justified? What possible benefit can it be to Vietnam to deny life-saving supplements (D-Ribose, Ubiquinol) for heart failure?

It is becoming so unbearable and dangerous for me that I may have to leave Vietnam with my family.

How does this fit in with Vietnam's motto of Family and Happiness?

If this continues I will robustly petition my own Government to consider tariffs against Vietnam imports from wherever I end up living.
