Hello corry lynn lapiz.

Welcome to Expat.com! :)

A new thread has been created on the Vietnam forum from your post.

Can you please give more details on the tour you are willing to do?

Thank you,
Aurélie

The Phils are a member of ASEAN and citizens are permitted to enter most other ASEAN countries for varying times not longer than 30 days without a visa.

This means that you can fly in, on a Phils passport, and the leave. If you want to remain longer than the allowable time you can either do a rder run or get a visa.

Many people use buses to travel between VietNam, Cambodia and Thailand. It takes about 6 hours Ho Chi Minh to Phnom Penh and about a day from PP to Bangkok.

Do not get ripped off by border guards - they migt try to tell you there us a fee, WRONG! At some crossings men "help" you with your bags. WRONG! They just want your money.

The only 'document' you need is your passport.

If you live in the Manila area, go visit the embassies of those countries.

With careful planning you can make a circular tour Land in HCMC - visit Da Lat and Nha Trang the cross via HCMC into Cambodia, visit southern Cambodia including  Angkor Wat.

Cross in to Thailand visit Bangkok and then head towards the northeast of the country in to Laos.

You can leave Loas by the northern border gate of Tay Trang (Laos)/Dien Bien Phu (VN) OR the eastern border (Nam Can/Nong Haet)(Laos)/Vinh (VN).

This route would mean air to HCMC and return to the Phils from Ha Noi. These are called OPENJAW flights by travel agents and airlines.

I will send you more info by PM.
