I am impressed with the quality posts, and people on this site, especially in everybody's willingness to help.  This is so refreshing to see.  My wife Grace, and I will be flying to Thailand in another week.  We are considering moving to Chiang Mai, if our week-long investigation of the city and surrounding area looks promising.  I have a lot of questions, which I am sure have already been answered on this site, so I have a lot of reading to do!

Thank you HaileyinHongKong, it is very sweet of you to give such a nice welcome. By the way, what do the 4 brief case icons under your name mean?

Welcome on board. Hope you find the blog both enjoyable and informative.

Regarding the suitcases, they are yellow for regular members and blue for members of Expat-blog Team, they indicate the number of postings. You will also find little yellow stars at the bottom of the member's information, these are karma stars, indicating the rating of those postings.
