How's Al manah ? Need a review for stay.

Hello everyone !

Yes, I've accepted the offer after negotiation on various things :D and thanks to josnuggles, akhil04 and everyone who have helped me gather insights !!

I'll be provided with company accommodation and they have mentioned that I will be staying near "Umm Al Hassam, Al Manamah, Bahrain". Would like to know how about the place, how close is it to the airport , are restaurants and night clubs nearby ?, and let me know if there is anything that I need to be concerned about ..

PS: I did refer to the definitive guide and only few places were mentioned the above one was not on the list. Pardon me if I'm reposting :)

I'll be coming to Bahrain in August last week .. Look forward to meet you guys !

Hi Sandy , Umm Al Hassam is good residential area , You will find lot of Indian expats living there , multiple Indian restaurants , couple of my Indian colleagues are living there . most of the things of your interests will be nearby. Bahrain is not a big country so most of the things are quite close , airport will be say 6-7 KM . I would say its very good place for stay and you will be fine

Yes, I agree. Umm Al Hassam is a nice and convenient place to live. You will feel quite comfortable there. There are a lot of eating places. A short drive away is Juffair and Exhibition Road. Both these areas have a number of bars and night spots. Best wishes!
