Hi all,

Just out of interest I have been looking at villas on the web- bahrain property world.  I understand the difference between what furnished and unfurnished are however- what I can't work out is what he general cost differences are.

I have asked my company to ship me a container over- to whitch I still haven't had a full reply from, but looking at the aggravation  this may cause I am thinking of renting FF.

Has anyone any experience on this?

If a villa is 1100bhd SF what would the rough cost be FF?

Look forward to your replies.

Also, do most owners allow pets, I have a beautiful mid sized Dalmatian (just the 1 coming the other 100 staying at home)  who will be making to move with us!

Hi, pets not an issue. You can get a good FF or SF for a decent budget depending on area ( all good area's but different prices ) I know people who work for a relocation company and I have friends in real estate. Both will help you a lot with your move. Let me know if you need further information and I will PM you and also post on the forum to help others.. Just a lot of information to post on here if you don't need it

Jo I have PM you.  This way you can speak to the boss (wife) who will let you know what I want/need. Thank you.

Saying this, at the risk of being reprimanded for going off topic ...

Paul - People like us certainly know our respective places in society. :D

Though most men do not like to admit it, their wives are their respective bosspeople :thanks:

If a Villa is advertised as SF, it is unlikely that the landlord will furnish it for you.  You need to search the website for FF and then you will get an idea of price.

I know lots of families that have started off in FF and then got fed up and moved into SF - just bear in mind then the cost of buying absolutely everything you need.

And dogs - no problem!
