Can anyone advise how much time does it usually take from the date of submission, for an E Pass application to be approved and is the work permit issued at the same time, or does this take more time.
Can anyone also explain why it takes so long for an employer to actually submit an E Pass application? i.e. even though my E Pass application form was completed a couple of days ago, my employer has advised that they cannot apply for my E Pass until the 29th of December.

The EP application procedure is simple and the forms can be filled in less than a day.
If your employer cannot apply before 29.Dec., there must be another reason for it!

Processing of the application (by MoM) takes between a few days and two months, depending on the circumstances.

Thanks Beppi.
All I know is that my employer has said that as soon as they receive my completed E Pass form, they will put it on the dashboard (whatever that means), and submit it on the 29th Dec.
