Furniture needed

Some friends and I are moving in a new flat in CPH and furniture are needed - table, chairs, sofa, beds.

would any expats like us give an help?

Can not help with any furniture, but if you do not have the funds to buy some, check out the local genbrug stations. Those are the recycling centers. Before you go "aaargh", let me tell you that you can find some really nice used furniture at some of the genbrugstations.

The Danes toss alot of really nice stuff. We actually decorated our "udstue" with everything from a genbrugstation and friends are flabbergasted by what we got.

Make a few visits and be amazed. Hope this helps you out. Also post on bulletin boards at local grocery stores asking for used furniture. Check out gul og gratis and dba.dk for offers.

On gul and gratis, it is often just a matter of calling the advertiser and arranging to pick it up. They just want someone to collct and haul it off.
