Hello,
We are considering a future permanent move to San Miguel de Allende. We are both in our fifties, so would like to continue working. We are bilingual, and one has citizenship, so no problem. Looking for 2 important issues, is it a safe area for Americans to live in, and how hard is it to get a work permit?
Thanks!

Hi, I am not an expert but you should contact your local Mexican consulate or embassy near you. The personnel at our consulate (Montreal) is quite knowleagable and helpfull.

Buena suerte en su proyecto, GyC.
