I m Italian leaving in Shanghai since 13 years , my first year was very hard to understand the Chinese life style and in 2005 there was not lot of choice for Expat then now , but once you accept to compromise yr life with their Life style is Ok . Some of my fried could not accept the Chinese life too much compromise  . My suggestion is to be in this country , need absolutely accept their life style otherwise we will be always Angry all the time , and any way is impossible to change their habit .
