Does anyone have feedback on financing options for purchasing a home, specifically in the Queretaro area?  Sold our US home and moving to Queretaro in about a month.

To clarify, I am a Mexican citizen.  From the US and became a Mexican citizen while living down there with my wife several years ago.

Thanks for all suggestions.

I found this place a few months ago.  I haven't followed through as we aren't that close to closing yet.

If you are  Mexican citizen, you can work with the banks.  Bancommer or other Banks offer mortgages. You will have to come up with 20, 10 or 15% down depending of the bank.  You will also have to have verifiable income.  Your age will play a role in terms of the years of the loan.  The older you are the shorter the number of years you have to pay for the mortgage.  Older people in Mexico cannot obtain credit unfortunately there is discrimination in this way.  Each bank has a different age bracket.
There are also other credit agencies, but I'm not too familiar with them.
Good luck!

Thanks.  Will consider it, although I know interest rates in Mexico are relatively high.
