Divorce in Vietnam

Hello, I live in Canada and recently got divorced in Canada. Our marriage was in Vietnam 10 years ago.

In Canada, the vietnamese marriage certificate was recognized and automatically registered in Canada. However, how does it work if I want my Canadian divorce to be recognized and registered in Vietnam?

You would have to go to a translator, and then get some official to certify it to make it official it here. You might even need a lawyer for the paperwork. Best to go to your consulate after Tet and figure things out with them.
