Im a recent MBA graduate and my EP was rejected.
I have been extremely concerned about it. I would like to know the average duration of appeal process and perhaps the chance of approval ? :(

Here is my experience.

7 Feb : Submitted EP application
25 Feb : REJECTED
MOM has advised the HR to repost the job ads due to some problem with data I m not sure what.
12 March: appeal application submitted.

So this upcoming week will mark 3 weeks. I really really hope that everything will turn out fine .

If anyone knows anything about this please share.
Thank you ! :)

@paviii You may always check the main thread: https://www.expat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=773390

It has stated everything you need to know.
including - "- An appeal process can take as long or longer than the original application."
There is no fixed answer, everything is purely depending on MoM

Cheers!

Your query is half informed. You didn’t tell where did you complete MBA. If it’s not in Singapore then chances are low unless you are passed out from premier institutions out side of Singapore.

Anyway, I have mentioned many times that it’s the employer has to justify why they are hiring a foreigner who is a fresher (if you have studied in local premier institution then chances to get approval is easier). Employer has to show the proof that they had tried locally and they couldn’t find the skills set as per their requirements. Hence, you who processed all the skills fit for the job role. Without validating with rationale at MoM, it’s very unlikely that the appeal will give positive response.

Time for outcome on your appeal cant say as there is no hard coded rule to tell you number of days would take but it should be much faster than original application review process. Good luck
