3 month tourist visa approval letter - multiple entry

If I obtain 3 month tourist visa approval letter for multiple entry, with the first entry at Moc Bai border, can I enter Vietnam at subsequent entries through an Airport?

Has anyone done this?

Or indeed, the other way round. i.e. First entered at Tan son nhat airport (or other Vietnamese International Airport) then left Vietnam at Moc Bai border to visit Cambodia, then re-entered Vietnam with same multiple entry visa at Moc Bai.

Yes

When re-entering on multiple entry visa, I imagine we still need to fill the same form, with photo and (higher) stamping fee attached. So, no change in processing time at border/airport? Or perhaps slightly less because no visa sticker needs to be glued to passport?

If you have the visa and are traveling on it (say, at about 6 weeks after issuance) and you are returning to Vietnam from being outside the country, you don't have to fill out anything, except possibly a customs declaration form.

Somehow it seems you may be confusing the process for obtaining a visa with the process of using a visa.

Once the visa is in your passport (or in your possession, if you obtain a loose leaf visa page) and it is valid, you simply present the visa to the immigration entry officer, at an airport or on land or wherever.

There are no additional charges for each of your multiple entries.

I have left and re-entered on my last two consecutive 3 month multi visas 2 times with current visa sticker/passport and boarding pass presented at passport control - no issue

Is it possible to acquire a one year renewal visa and not leave the country?   I have been here 18 months and now possess a one year visa..
