Live in Barbar?

Hi all

Relocating to Bahrain next month and considering living in Barbar. Office will be in Seef. We have 2 kids with elder (8 years) having just gained admission to BSB. Understand Barbar is pretty close to Saar with good expat population.

Will welcome any thoughts on living in Barbar, positives and negatives?

Missed this post earlier.

I don't live in Barbar but do visit a few friends there from time to time. It is opposite Saar, yes but the quality of accommodation varies. There are some really good compounds and some not so good - the choice is not as varied as saar.

Keep in mind that the drive to BSB from Barbar can be between 20-30 minutes and around the same to Seef depending on traffic.
