I would like to emigrate to France within the next 5 years and am looking for any information from any non-French who have also emigrated; what obstacles you faced, what legal obligations you had to meet, any information you'd be willing to share on your experience, and also from French citizens with any insider information.
I am considering the areas around Nice and Grenoble as possible locations. Any information on jobs in technology would also be appreciated.

@SimCityAT Yes! I realise due to the exceptional wisdom of the great British public that brexit will throw a lot of really unwanted rusty spanners in a lot of people's plans to escape this crazy isle ( 
), but it's a hurdle I'm just going to have to deal with.
