Hi Friends,

I have a little query, I need ur advice for that.

I got a job offer from a company in Singapore. I accepted that offer and they got all the EP formalities completed. Later on due to some personal reasons I could not join that company. Now I got one more offer from another company and when they are trying to apply EP for me, its not accepting.

They suggest that I have to get my previous EP cancelled first, only then I can apply for a fresh one, and for that I have to come to Singapore.

I hope you ppl can understand my situation and suggest me what could be the best possible solution for the purpose.

I will really appreciate ur prompt response.

Thanks
Ruchi

If your previous EP was granted, but you didn't actually start the job, your previous employer should have cancelled the EP. If they forgot, you need to remind them. You cannot cancel an EP yourself, only the employer can!

You should also contact MoM and tell them the reasons (and provide documentation) why you didn't take up the first job and why you are now more serious about the second job. Otherwise they might not give you another EP.
