Advice on Marriage/Situation At HAnd

Wow, I just read the the next 4 or 5 submissions from the OP.
Time to act William, we have banged your drum for some time now and the same things are said...... Move on and accomplish, do it and with the knowledge you have gained/asked for? Is there any point now with all this diatribe? You know what you are going to do, come back with a very happy family and let us know the trials and tribulations once you have succeeded.

My wife likes the flight from Atlanta. Land in Inchon and then to Manila. She books the flight that has at least a 2 hour layover. They have a place there where you can go and take a shower for a little money. We usually take the flights that get in at night, traffic is better. If you're driving to Atlanta then a return flight direct to Atlanta means you don't have to get your luggage, go through customs and then check the luggage back in. If you're flying to somewhere in AL then you'll have to do that anyway.

I prefer to break it up. Fly to Honolulu, spend a night, easy 9-10 hour PAL flight next day to Manila, then on to Cebu. I just can't sit for a 14 hour flight, but many do it. It's more risky in this time of the pandemic.

Just make sure you get the vaccine before you get on a plane for that many hours. On one flight to Singapore 6 people were infected with Covid. They traced all of them with the DNA.

Best time to go to most parts of the Philippines is the winter months, in my opinion - cooler and drier. It starts to get really hot starting in March, then monsoon (rainy season & mosquitoes) starts around July, lasting until Dec.

Good idea to get some travel shots before you go too. Hep A & B and measles (MMR).

Well I did get a set of drums one year for Christmas. Maybe I am unintentionally venting because my Brothers and Sister destroyed them. Maybe I should have had a Talk Show. Anyway. I will do as you say.  As far as the Diatribing, remember I don't get out much.

William, please read the forum rules. I realize you are the OP on this thread but you are making it difficult to follow with all the random posts that are not specifically directed to anyone, or even on topic. You have received lots of good advice, but at this point I think the thread may have run it's course.

There are two possible problems.  One is getting married and two is bringing her to the United States.  You will see that within the first 6 months she will be the sweet woman you married.  After she starts work and going to church, she will seek out other philippinas due to the homesickness.  These friends and coworkers will be the beginning of your troubles.  I won't say anymore but just beware of bringing a sweet Philippina to the US.  Best of luck to you.

I believe the OP lives in Alabama, hardly enough Filipina's to play Majhong or Filipino Poker.

Only my experience but my partner lived and worked in Australia for 5 years, had a great time with his Filipino work buddies in aged care but he was not interested in socialising with them out of work hours, chismis etc. I asked him many times why we don't catch up? No need was always his reply, back here for 2 years and little to nothing has changed, family yes but nary a problem. BTW we are both catholic and neither go to church, perhaps that's where the problems start?

It seem nationalities are good at finding each other abroad even if they are few   

But concerning myself there are few percent of Swedes I like to socialice with in Sweden, so there is a big percent of Swedes I  don't like to socialice with abroad neither   
(I call some "bar people"  - not interesting at all , many are annoying - or the more common "beach people" - not anything much bad with them, but almost all of them are booooring     
Much more fun to socialice with kids

Omo...I really don't think many a province girl from poor families has a better option but to end up in some of the bars in manila & mingle there just so they can finally start paying up many an unpaid bill & in a way sacrifice themselves in the pursuit of a better life not only for themselves and their left behind family/children fathered by their x-boyfriends : "x-live in husbands" as they call it)
They are infact treated as heroines of their province/barangay when they do manage to hook onto a foreigner (with an ATM appearance) & they in turn secure a better/brighter future for their left behind family/children.
Again I'd like to emphasize that NOT all are bad/evil girls; some do turn out to be wonderful life partners too with a little polishing up.

Two of them I don't know enough about their background, but I know of three, who had good functioning marriages, until they moved aboad , got new Filipina "friends" and changed to acting bad as the new "friends"...

Edit: E g the case I know the background of too, one convinced ther foreigner bf to bring her to Sweden to "take care of him" and WORK, so she could send home money.  He agreed to support her financialy durin she studied Swedish to get more work options.   (She had University education allready for office work.)
After some socialicing, she CHANGED to expecting him to financialy support her for ever, was lacy concerning study,, low cpncentration when studying by playing much Farmville and Facebook at same time and did almost none of the household work expecting him to do almost all...  (Swedish men are used to do around half of the household work.)
There are several examples of specific bad behaviour hy her e g once she had missed the bus, which he had paid month card fee for.  These buses go every 20 minute and it's waling distance home (Swedish messure).

...He started worry when she didn't come home when next bus had bassed, so he drove to search for her. He found her at the bus stop, hadn't went on next bus, sat there and had tampo!!!

That's AMERICAN thinking    going by car everywhere.   In Swedish cities - as they live - the public transportantions are good so the normal  is to go by public transportantions.  (It can be some different in rural parts where public transports are not good.)

By he came from the bathrioom it would have taken him time to get ready and get there around when next bus come anyway, so it make no sence he go there to fetch her instead of she take next bus. 
Btw - Instead of taking this short distance connection bus, he walk such distances himself...

Well.  Mentaly not strong basicly good people can turn bad by bad influence and group pressure.

Earlier today I heared a Fiipina talking about even if the Filipina love her bf/husband, who has good financial situation in Filipino messure, and he treat her good,  it's common the Filipina mother-in-law try to influence the daughter to upgrade to someone richer.    The Filipina said it's common, I don't know if it's common, I just know it exist.

That's a reason I claim foreign - Filipina marriages have better chance if living in the Philippines than in a "western" country by in "western" countries there are more "upgrade" posibilities for the Filipina...  For instance instead of me they can perhaps find a younger version of me without  knee problems      and sure someone richer than I. I want to live in a warm country anyway.

Don't worry. . .The fact that you know  you're repeating yourself unless you are eating dining alone, now that could be a problem.
